Directions and notes

Drive out of St. Helens and on the right there should be a gravel road. Follow that until you get to the phone tower. A very hard track to get to (huge hill) but fun to go down.

Hi all
A few mates and I actually created this track as some fun and were blown aay when someone pointed out it was here on pedalbite.
Best description of how to get there is to turn off up Flagstaff Rd and continue till you see the power line track. If you have 4x4 which is ideal drive straight to the top. If not have fun walking it's a LONG climb!
At the tower at the top of the hill look for a single track almost directly heading in the town direction. Be mindful though that where the track ends onto gravel RD this is private land and the land manager is fine with us going straight through, we just need to be respectful.

Top effort to build a track up there! I rode it in Jan 2012 and it was great (scary even at the top). When you come out on the gravel road, keep a look out for a trail ( there are several ) on your right. These will lead you onto some great tracks all the way down through the caravan park. Or back to the top if your keen for another run. Road is a bit better now but still 4wd only.
