Directions and notes
This track is a shared user track with walkers from the top to the bridge and 4x4 users after the bridge to the road. The trail is always wet and muddy so be prepared for this. The trail follows a disused railway which provides for some very fast riding with blind corers that you can keep full pace into and rail. You will come across the skinny and high suspension bridge at the falls and see one of Tassies highest water falls which usually flows very strongly with the west coasts high rainfall.
To get there just after Rosebery if traveling towards Zeehan look for the turn off to Williamsford and Montezuma falls will be signposted. The ride will finish on the highway within 10km or so of Zeehan. This trail is a great fun, fast and at times hairy ride which has made it one of the vafourite trails of Wildside MTB competitors over the years. User reviewsLog in to write your own |
