Directions and notes
Briant Park is one of the best to ride in the Smithton area, also easiest to find. Best place to park your car is where the marker is (yellow gates), or you can park it where Old Stanley Road ends when a motorcross day is on (when the yellow gates are open). There is a heap of trails which branch of the two main fire roads, they are mostly cross country/general trails but there is also about a 60 second downhill run with some high speed corners, a couple of berms, jumps and a rock garden. If you follow Pumphouse road, then turn right at the end there is another network of trails, these trails back onto a rifle range, so don't jump any fences otherwise you could get shot!!!

Road Gap, as you are heading down old stanley road just as you are coming up to the crest on the road, you will see what looks like a dirt quarter. if you go up behind it there is fairly steep track heading straight up the hill once you get to a track which is cut into the side of the hill.
You will spot the jump right in front of you. The run up is cut in going straight done the hill.
Minimum distance to clear it is 6 metres but you can jump further down the hill

Techy trails
Over on the rifle range side, after a little bit of exploring, you will find a clay donut pad.
there is a gravel road leading to the shooting targets down from there. on the left there is a section off bush.
There is about 4 really good 50 metre long, techy, tight trails.
They are a mix of really slippery clay and loose gravel with sudden drops as well as some decent sized drops.
On the other side of this bush there is a rather large step down, a 6 metre table and roughly a 2 metre drop.
